Jiu Suh — vocals,bass
Marcus Sleeves — production,guitar,keyboard

My Dry Ages is an indie duo from East Asia. Their sound lives somewhere between dream-pop and post-punk — slow-burning guitar lines over restless, off-kilter rhythms that feel both intimate and unsettled.

The two met during a late-night open mic in Hongdae in the winter of 2021. They didn't speak much that first night, but both remembered the other. A few months later, Marcus Sleeves sent a rough instrumental through a mutual friend. Jiu Suh recorded a vocal take in one sitting. That was the beginning.

Their early demos were uploaded quietly to SoundCloud with no announcement. A handful of plays became a few hundred, then more. Listeners described the music as feeling like "3am on a rooftop you're not supposed to be on" — a description the duo never disputed.

The name My Dry Ages was pulled from a notebook entry Jiu Suh wrote during a long, still stretch between jobs and relationships. It referred to a period of feeling suspended — not quite lost, but not quite moving either. It felt honest, so it stayed.

Their music doesn't chase resolution. Songs end mid-thought, melodies circle without landing. That sense of incompleteness is intentional — a reflection of the emotional states they write from and for.

They continue to record independently, releasing music on their own terms and timeline.
