My Dry Ages is a Seoul-based electronic duo formed by Jiu and Marcus Sleeves. The two first met while playing together in the shoegaze band Moth before drifting toward drum machines, cheap synths, and late-night sessions built around a shared idea: sad music you can still dance to.
Jiu grew up in Korea, while Marcus spent most of his life in Shanghai. Coming from different cities but shaped by the same internet-era music taste, the duo began developing a sound that blends chiptune textures with trance-driven momentum.
Under the name My Dry Ages, they create melancholic dance music — bright, digital melodies pushed through restless rhythms and emotional undercurrents. Their sound sits somewhere between blog house energy, indie dance attitude, and the euphoric pull of trance.
Based in Seoul, My Dry Ages makes music for the moment when sadness and movement meet.
